Our love for each other was such a wonderful precious thing
Never has anyone felt more loved than I did
You wanted to keep me safe from harm
Even if I made you complain that it was almost like I had a mind of my own :o)
You made me laugh
You called me funny
You made me smile
You could be infuriating, but only for a short while
But never could anyone feel more loved
We were soul mates
We were each others north, south, east and west
You were my everything
So many words left unspoken
So many kisses left unbidden
So many hugs left to give
The void you leave behind is immense
The colour in my life has dimmed and only shadows remain
You were my everything
Life without you has little purpose
You were my best friend, my soulmate, my everything
I sense you are still with me
Every minute of every day
I look for little signs you are there
I like to chitter to you
I ask you for advice
I ask you for comment
I ask you for guidance
I know you are still with me
